- Government has sanctioned Rs 5,188 crore worth projects in the last three years, of which Rs 2,138 crore has been released for Indo-Bangladesh and Indo-Pak border projects. This includes 200 kms fence, 430 kms long border roads, floodlights spreading across 647 kms long borders and 110 composite border outposts.
- New initiative has been undertaken for creation of Model Villages in border areas for which more than Rs 92 crore has been released to 7 states for development of 41 Model Villages, including 24 in J&K.

- The speed of road construction has gone up from just 2 kilometres a day to 28 kilometres
- Work on inland waterways has started and working on 10 inland waterways. To transform the 20,000 km river length into waterways
- Work on Dwarka Expressway and Mumbai-Vadodara Expressway started entailing investments of Rs 7000 crore and Rs 44000 crore. Even the Char Dham road project envisaged by BJP Government has started and is going on at war-footing.
- The 12 major ports are running in profits. In the first year, profits stood at Rs 3000 crore, the next year it stood at Rs 4000 crores, in 2016 it went up to Rs 5000 crore and in the year 2017, the profits rose to Rs 7000 crores.
- The most ambitious Sagar Mala is a project of Rs 16 lakh crore of which Rs 4 lakh crore will be used in developing port-road connectivity, port-rail connectivity, port modernisation and mechanisation
- In JNPT (Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust) alone, investments to the of Rs 40-60 thousand crore with employment opportunities to about 1.25 lakh people
