The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is a space telescope specifically designed to conduct infrared astronomy. Its high-resolution and high-sensitivity instruments allow it to view objects too old, distant, or faint for the Hubble Space Telescope. This enables investigations across many fields of astronomy and cosmology, such as observation of the first stars and the formation of the first galaxies, and detailed atmospheric characterization of potentially habitable exoplanets. The U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) led Webb's design and development and partnered with two main agencies: the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA). The NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Maryland managed telescope development, while the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore on the Homewood Campus of Johns Hopkins University operates Webb. The primary contractor for the project was Northrop Grumman. The telescope is named after James E. Webb, who was the administrator of NASA from 1961 to 1968 during the Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo programs.

Hindus Set to Lose The Battle for Survival Due to Internal Divisions and Weaknesses

The above subject line is not just a slogan and a warning, but will become a reality in the decades to come. Why am I saying this? Because of all the prominent religions, Hindus are one religious group which stands out for being selfish, self centred, indifferent, spineless, with regards to the welfare of their own religious brethren. Consider the following reasons:

  • It has come to light that the survivors of prominent Hindu freedom fighters are living in extreme penury and misery.
  • The YouTube has dozens of videos uploaded by miscreants which defile Hindu Gods and show the religion in poor light.
  • Instead of recognising, rewarding and protecting those Hindus who have contributed to good governance of the country, the leaders of successive Congress/Hindu-majority central governments have persecuted, harassed and intimidated them and have snatched away their means of livelihood.
  • Hindu families mock, sneer, and discourage those members within the family who have made significant social contribution.
  • Hindus ostracise and socially boycott those few Hindus who have the guts to speak out against evil and bad practices within the Hindu religion.
  • Other Hindus will not come to the rescue of aggrieved Hindu champions if he faces threats to his life, harassment, or if he is financially and work-wise deprived.
  • Hindus don’t have organised systems and organisations to support and take care of those members of the community who face state-sponsored atrocities and persecution.
  • Most western educated Hindus don’t follow their religion’s rituals and festivals and shy away from visiting temples and taking pride in their customs and practices.

In contrast, consider the practices of the major religions other than Hinduism:

  • The followers of other major religions take pride in their religion.
  • The followers of other major religions take pride in practising the rituals of their religion.
  • The followers of other major religions are organised and have a strong bonding among themselves.
  • The followers of other major religions are given sermons by their community leaders exhorting community members to behave in a united, concerted way.
  • The followers of other major religions take care of those individuals who have fought for the religion and have sacrificed a large part of their lives for their community.

The BJP cannot and will not return to power in 2024 unless the following steps are undertaken:

  • Although Modiji has done a spectacular job for two terms, search must begin in right earnest for a new leader to lead the party who is tough and a warrior but at the same time is compassionate, grateful, educated, who thinks pan-India and has a global vision.
  • It is ironical that in the land where Hindus are living since thousands of years, they can’t build a Ram Temple. Building a Ram Temple is the key to winning the 2024 general elections.
  • There must be created a Hindu council in terms of a directing authority who can ensure that all Hindus act in tandem and there is need for further consolidation of the Hindu fraternity.
