How Can the BJP and Allies Win the 2019 General Elections in the Public and National Interest?

Till the time the Congress and UPA get their act together (in terms of good governance, honest leaders who want to serve and protect the public interest with the best interests of the country in mind, and setting an example of integrity from top down), the Indian public will continue to support the BJP and its allies because their efforts and will in this direction are genuine and sincere.

So, what are the ingredients that constitute a winning personality both in terms of the party and its leader/s.

1.   Messaging and communication with the public and all stakeholders must be simple with clarity and devoid of all jargon.

2.   Leaders must walk the talk. What you say must reflect in all your actions. In other words, promise only what you can do and deliver.

3.   Say what you mean. The public can look through a couched speech. They will respect and love you if you say what you mean.

4.   Avoid and eliminate aggression in speech, demeanour and behaviour. The public likes its leaders to follow the rules of civility upfront.

5.   No matter how low your opponent stoops down, never stoop down to his level. The public takes note of everything and will respect you for maintaining your dignity.

6.   Our shastras say: ”knowledge is given to some, character to a few and humility to the rarest.” When you have unlimited power, your humbleness will make you shine through.

7.   Your demeanour must always convey your inner conviction: These are by: eye gaze, facial expressions, gestures, gait, tone of voice, etc.

8.   The first rung of leaders must fully back the chief campaigner in speech, behaviour and actions. The party must fight the elections like a well-oiled machine.

9.   Don't fight the 2019 elections for gaining power. But fight it with the sole objective of serving the country and protecting the public interest. THEN VICTORY WILL BE YOURS!!

10.   FINALLY, IN ALL YOUR CAMPAIGNING, EXTEND TO THE OPPOSITION AND ITS LEADERS A STATURE HIGHER THAN YOURSELF. THE PUBLIC WILL SEE THAT YOUR CHARACTER IS SUPERIOR AND WILL REWARD YOU WITH VOTES.
